About the Journal

Indonesian Journal of Politics and Literary Studies is a double blind peer-reviewed scholarly journal that publishes original research articles and critical studies at the intersection of politics, literature, and cultural discourse. This journal is published twice a year as a platform for the dissemination of theoretical, empirical, and interdisciplinary findings that explore how literary texts, narratives, and cultural productions engage with political ideas, power relations, ideologies, and socio-historical contexts. It addresses a broad range of topics, including but not limited to political criticism in literature, literary representations of power and ideology, postcolonial and ideological studies, literature and nationalism, resistance and identity in literary texts, cultural and political discourse, narrative politics, and language-centered approaches to political and literary phenomena across historical and contemporary contexts.
