Focus & Scope
Journal of Management in Education (JME) is a scientific publication that focuses on the study, development, and innovation of management in educational settings. The journal serves as a medium for disseminating research findings, theoretical discussions, and practical applications in the field of educational management, with the aim of contributing to the improvement of education quality at local, national, and global levels.
The journal is published by The Altruistic Equatorial Literacy Foundation, located in Probolinggo, East Java, Indonesia. JME is issued three times a year (April, August, and December).
The scope of JME includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:
• Educational leadership and governance in schools, madrasahs, pesantrens, and higher education institutions.
• Strategic management, policy development, and decision-making in education.
• Human resource management in education, including teacher professionalism, recruitment, training, and development.
• Curriculum management, learning innovations, and quality assurance in education.
• Financial management and resource allocation in educational institutions.
• Use of information and communication technology (ICT) in educational management.
• Comparative studies and best practices in educational management across regions and countries.
• Community participation, partnership, and stakeholder engagement in education.
• Issues of equity, inclusivity, and sustainability in educational management.
JME welcomes original research articles, conceptual papers, case studies, and reviews that are relevant to the field of educational management.
